Hi Guys,
This week I need some advice.
One of my father's friends who came with him to England from Hungary after the war has had a stroke. He is 79. He has no family in England - his wife died a few years ago and they have no children. His nearest relative is his neice in Hungary but she is 65 and speaks no English. Now my Uncle Michael (but he is not a blood relative) has to go into a nursing home. He can't go home again. None of his friends will take responsibilty for anything and nobody will take care of his house, sort things out or do his paperwork.
I have known him all my life and I feel very bad about all this. I think I should try to help, but I live in the UAE not England. I am thinking of going to England in the semester break to take care of his administration. If I don't do it, the government will take everything from him.
What do you think I should do?
