Hi there!
My name is Heather Maria Baba. I'm British, but I have lived in the UAE for a long time. I come from a small town called Melton Mowbray. It is in the Midlands, near Nottingham.
I studied languages at Leeds University, and then I did my Masters in Applied Linguistics at the University of Surrey. I have taught English in Spain, Greece, Italy, Finland and also in several Gulf States. I have lived in the UAE for over 10 years. Previously I worked at the UAE University in Al Ain and also for the military. I have been at ADMC for 4 years.
I have one daughter. She used to live here, but now she is at Glasgow University in Scotland. She is studying Geography and Central and East European History.
In my free time I enjoy swimming, cooking, handicrafts and watching films. In the holidays I love to travel and learn about other countries.
