My Ramadan routine is different from my usual life here in the UAE. In Ramadan classes at the college start at 9.00, so I can get up later, which is great! The lessons are also much shorter. My working day finishes earlier in Ramadan, too. I don't have much free time at college in Ramadan because the breaks between classes are very short, so I don't have time to talk to my friends. I don't eat or drink at work during Ramadan. I go home at about 2pm and the traffic is always busy at that time.
In the evenings in Ramadan I don't go out much, but sometimes I go to eat Iftar in a restaurant.
At weekends in Ramadan I stay at home because I find it difficult to go shopping or travelling around the UAE without eating or drinking.
One thing I like in Ramadan is that the shops are open very late at night.
